Barkley is a career loser who tried to force his way into the Larry - Magic - Michael crowd when in fact he wasn't a pimple on any of their backsides. Barkley wasn't Kevin McHale let alone in that breath and he has a far far bigger mouth than TO - he was a fake tough guy who nearly had has face broken by Charles Oakley and Xavier McDaniel.
Name the player that put Shaq on his ***.

I dont think Barkley is too knowledgable, but I do think hes funny. And he is brutally honest. Hell make fun of the promos for his own channels games. Saying people should be fired over dumb props....

Oh, he's definitly funny. His quotes are a riot

"The Republicans are full of it. The Democrats are a little less full of it."

"I think that the team that wins game five will win the series. Unless we lose game five."

"You know it's going to hell when the best rapper out there is white and the best golfer is black."

“These are my new shoes. They're good shoes. They won't make you rich like me, they won't make you rebound like me, they definitely won't make you handsome like me. They'll only make you have shoes like me. That's it.”

Kenny: "Gonzaga could be a darkhorse to win it all"

Barkley: "They're a lot of things, but they aint dark."

:laugh2: Poor Charles couldn't ever even beat MJ on the golf course. Jordan, a serious gambler, would take hundreds of thousands from him on one hole wacko bets. And MJ would taunt CB that he didn't love hoops enough - that he didn't even care enough to get himself into the best physical shape he could.

Which was essentially true. Charles had some golden games when you'd marvel at his physical grace..a man so big elevating so high...I recall more than a few games when he posted up like a maniac, had his inside and outside shots working, and rebounded like mad..and remember thinking ..if this man could play like this every night, he'd be the greatest ever.

No CB wasn't consistent, or dedicated enough to belong in the Larry -Magic- MJ trio (tho he was certainly as good a player as McHale). But CB was always something 'more' than a basketball player or even an athlete.

He's a unique and endearing personality, with all his flaws, essentially lovable.

A lot like Irvin in many ways, tho Mike was a more consistently fierce competitor.

When Barkley was asked if he regretted throwing the guy thru the window, Barkley replied. "The only thing that I regret is that we were not on the 2nd floor. :laugh1:

Barkley is so full of himself. He thinks he's some kind of intellectual or something. Puhleeeze. He's just an ex-jock whose best days are behind him.

His best days were taken from him by Michael Jordan. MJ witch slapped him whenever he wanted....

I was just reading Barkley's bio on wiki, and it mentions that Barkley had lost nearly 10 million dollars to gambling. Is this true? All I gotta say is....daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Funny, I told a co-worker last week that TO reminded me of Barkley, problem everywhere he went but it was always someone else's fault.

Barkley griped about Philly when he was in Phoenix, griped about Phoenix when in Houston and griped about Houston (And Pippen) in his last days, Barkley always talked about how winning a championship means everything to him yet every training camp he shows up overweight. At least TO put the work in to make himself a better player.

I think he said he solved his problem by only gambling 1000/hand.

a 6'5" Hall of Fame power forward, he can say what he wants.

Yeah but when did he ever win????

Answer: He didnt win...

He went to a very good team (Suns) and they were worse for it....

I am not a T.O. fan but he might just be a 6'3 Hall of famer some day and takes care of himself a whole lot better than Barkley did as a player...

I will say this though at least when the mound of rebound was in there it was less that I had to listen to the other idiots on MNF

Barkley is an idiot.
He should never bash another pro athlete for any outlandish or ridiculous or or distracting or borderline criminal behavior because that would be like the pot calling the kettle...."black" (wait can I say that word or will Sir Charles call me a racist?)

Some NBA player (I forgot who, maybe Scotty Pippen) came out and said publicly that Michael Jordan told the Bulls not to sign Barkley when he was looking for a new team, because Jordan felt Barkley was a mentally soft loser and unpredictable and you couldn't win with him on the team. (Paraphrasing)
