CH: What a disgusting human bean off the field.
Bullying, reliefing himself on cars, etc. And he ugly two!

All is forgiven for destroying the 49ers and Skins many a tme during his era. I remember the year after the Commanders SP, and Dallas played them opening night and rocked them and Haley had a sack. My Commanders fan friend was like the following today like, what the hell, they got Haley...

I did write "off the field"? Once a thug always a thug but I did appreciate his muscle on our defense.

I met him and played blackjack with him in Tahoe, couldn't have been nicer or more polite.

Garrett, he probably said he was going to Coach this organization one day run it into the ground with 8-8 seasons. He also would accomplish this by sleeping with the Boss, cursing Aikman for keeping him in the dark.... Just a wild guess ..lol

Kinda sad it took us (well you, gotta give you credit) that long to even remember he was on the staff...what is his real deal anyway? talk about havin pictures on JJ...

If he's hung around this long then he has good social skills and he must be a good QB coach. I think Romo and Garrett like him.

No that's fair, I was speaking more about that odd suspension for using PED's as an assistant coach? Has that happened to any other coach in the NFL that we know of? I think they tried to say that it was due diabetes, but I also remember Leon Lett claiming cough syrup was the reason he tested positive for cocaine... That whole thing was odd to say the least...

I actually think that this is the one.

Irvin mentioned staff member that is still there, not a player.

Former Cowboys receiver Michael Irvin addressed the topic on Wednesday’s edition of Cleveland Browns Daily with Vic Carucci.
“[People have] said, ‘Would you have gone through it? Would you have allowed it?’” Irvin said. “I said, ‘Absolutely not. Are you serious?’ The only thing I can relate it to is we were coming back from a game one time, and I don’t remember the game, but we were on the airplane and Charles Haley, he was in one of those moods. He was going in hard after one of our staff members. I won’t say his name, out of privacy for him … and the guy wasn’t saying anything.
“Charles just kept going at him, and I said, ‘Hey, enough of that, man.’ He said, ‘I’m going to come back there and kick your . . .’ I said, ‘No, you’re not. No, you’re not kicking nobody’s butt. We’re on an airplane. We’re going to stop this right now. We’re not doing any of this.’ Charles said, ‘Oh, what are you going to do? You going to come up here and whoop my butt?’ I said, ‘No, I’m not going to come up there to whoop your butt, but I promise you, you’re going to come through me to whoop his. That’s it. We’re going to stop this now.’
“I was scared out of my wits. Charles is a big fella and he’s crazy, but thank God, he didn’t come out of his chair. I didn’t want to go at Charles, but by no means was Charles getting to that guy because he was wrong. He was wrong and thank God he stayed in that chair. It calmed down, but he was way out of line and off-base. You’ve got to stand up, and if I was in that room with that guy, Incognito, I promise you, I would’ve said something about that.”

The only staff member that was there in 1995 that is a staff member now is Mike Woicik. Nice call, Irving.
i miss having personalities on the team.

His was legit. The league mucked that up but I do understand why they did it even if I don't agree. It is not standard treatment and there may be more to it that makes it NOT legit.

So where is the part about it being a current staff member?

Um, the opening post says that is what he said on NFL Network. I would guess that he was talking about what he said on the radio show and added the bit about him being on staff presently.
