Charles Rogers is now expected to be cut by the Lions.

What happened to this guy?? He was so highly rated coming out of college everyone thought he was a sure thing.

I don't have any interest in trying to ressurect(sp) him. I really, really like our young guys, Rector and Hurd.

I like what we have at that position and I dont think now is the time to get cute.

His mindset took a hard hit when he was doing fine as a rookie then he broke his collarbone. Then the next year he broke his collarbone again. That must've shot his ego down. Add to that the fact that the Lions drafted another highly touted WR in Roy Williams, he was feeling uneasy. Of course he also played for a loser organization called the Detroit Lions. Always losing, having a sucker at QB named Joey Harrington who can't get you the ball, the guy who was drafted while you were hurt, is now replacing you as number 1.

How could he not lose his love for football? Probably took drugs to forget that he is a Detroit Lion.
