Quite whinning. Who else plays three straight game like Georgia Tech on the road, Penn State, then on the road at Michigan.
Don't even try the schedule BS. Notre Dame plays the toughest schedule in the nation every year. You will not find a "directional" school on their schedule. Notre Dame will not play Western Kentucky or Central Florida just to get an easy win. Every team they play is a major college team. They play the military academies because they have no choice. They are the other "Independents" and Notre Dame has a lifetime contract to play Army/Navy that goes back to time before most people were alive.
Simple fact is, your a jealous hater. Your college team probably sucks, never gets on TV, and plays teams like Montana State every chance they get so they have a chance on winning a few easy game.
Yeah, playing Stanford, Purdue, UNC, Ga Tech, the three academies and Michigan State REALLY is tough.
They get Michigan at home so it's guaranteed the Irish will get at least 2-3 calls to help them win that one.
The only other tough games are UCLA but they get them at home in a down year and at USC.
No one says they have to play all the academies in one year (they play Navy every year but not the other two who were added this year to help Quinn get his Heisman). Then again, when they don't, they play Rutgers or some other small school.
The biggest myth in sports is the toughness of the Notre Dame schedule, especially when you factor in they have the refs in their pocket.
As an aside, why would anyone be jealous of South Bend City College? They are back to being an actual program but they weren't for oh 15 years.
I would actually have some respect for the Irish if they would join a conference.
