That is what I'm saying not all coaches are interested in going to the NFL, many like to think college is some stepping stone for coaches and it can be in some cases but in many cases you will see these men love coaching at the college level and have no desire to move to the pros. I don't know if Weiss is interested in returning to the Pro ranks or not and if he wins a national title at ND he will have it made there. Pro coaches get fired a lot quicker even if you won a SB than what we see at the college level.

Weis actually said the only college football team he would coach for was Notre Dame before he was hired. He said his dream jobs were head coach of ND and head coach of the GMen, and after that any NFL gig.

With that said, I don't understand why people continue to think this is a realistic possibility. He just got a 10 year extension, he has it made at ND, and if ND continues to improve, he's not going to leave an unfinished project when they're that close to a National Championship just because the "almighty" Cowboys need a Head Coach.

IF CW wins a NC at ND this next season, he then outranks the Pope at ND and can pretty much rule forever.
