Video: Charvarius Ward: Dallas don't make a lot of good decisions

One can only hope but Jerry Jones does have the mind of a mule.
This is not constructive criticism that is gonna affect anyone including me the dude's got a big mouth Kansas City you act like they won the lottery with the guy they chose not to resign him they didn't wanna give him a big deal so they traded him to San Francisco and now where is he at I can't even tell you because the guy's acting like he's Darryl green or Deion Sanders he's not even the best corner in his era I don't even put him top five demands on his four teams that he got in the league and he acts like he needs to run his mouth and his ego is just running him up and this was just a misstep by the Cowboys because they didn't realize he was gonna turn out this way teams do this all the time it sure is better than trading say saquon Barkley within your division and allowing the eagles to win a Super Bowl because of it that's what a dumb move looks like that's what a bad decision looks like letting an undrafted free agent go just because he had a few good moments in preseason games that's not a bad decision that's just bad luck a sheer coincidence...

he seems butt hurt the cowboys let him go. it was a numbers game and he pulled in a pick.
Exactly and he's on his 14th it's not like Kansas City thought highly of him or they would have paid him a Super Bowl team moved on from him and in San Francisco had a losing season and I moved on from him I'm not saying this guy ain't good but he's got an awful big ego for someone who I couldn't tell you what his stats are how his career is going he's not deon Sanders he's not Darrell green he's not rivas island but this dude was undrafted he should not have an ego talking crap about a team that traded him before he showed anything really...

Does he realize that 32 teams went through 7 rounds of the draft and decided he wasn't worth picking that's what I see and then I see the rejections by Kansas City and San Francisco after being traded from Dallas he's on his fourth team I'm sure he's a really solid corner we wish we still had him here but the nonsense that they make bad decisions no this was just something they couldn't see the future I mean if we went by what we saw in preseason there be a lot of hall of farmers that we released because they were really good in preseason hell Carson looked good in preseason last year and he turned out not to play well at all in the regular season...

Kansas City. You act like they won the lottery with the guy they chose not to resign him. They didn't wanna give him a big deal so they traded him to San Francisco. And now where is he at?

I can't even tell you because the guy's acting like he's Darryl green or Deion Sanders. He's not even the best corner in his era. I don't even put him top five.

Demands on his four teams that he got in the league. And he acts like he needs to run his mouth. And his ego is just running him up.

And this was just a misstep by the Cowboys because they didn't realize he was gonna turn out this way. Teams do this all the time.

It sure is better than trading, say, saquon Barkley within your division and allowing the eagles to win a Super Bowl because of it. That's what a dumb move looks like. That's what a bad decision looks like.

Letting an undrafted free agent go just because he had a few good moments in preseason games. That's not a bad decision. That's just bad luck. A sheer coincidence...

No!
Dallas tried to trade Olimba because Ward was the favorite to make the team. KC insisted on Ward.
There was a Q&A answer on the main page complaining about why they traded Ward!
Not the way it was reported to what I read back when it happened.

?That's easy,?????????

didn't listen to the video and have no idea what team he plays for now, and I don't care.

simple as that, the guy ran his mouth he's wrong wasn't a bad decision it was a misstep, they didn't know what the guy was going to turn into, but that's kind of odd that 32 teams let 7 rounds go in the draft and didn't even notice this guy... But the Cowboys should be given credit for even bringing the guy on board so they let the guy go who cares how well he may or may not have looked in preseason we seen Carson do that last year and completely not look the same in the regular season against real competition it happens teams move on from a player they have no idea what is future is going to be when he's undrafted...

then he's on his fourth team at least that I remember offhand just from general tidbits of information from apps that send reports on player movement...

but again, don't care I don't know where he's at he's not that relative to the NFL in my opinion he's not one of the big name corners, I know he's good, I know he's solid.. I know he's had a good career but he's not one of those guys I mentioned he is not even in Deion Sanders or Darryl green or players like them IE lock HOFers..

Dallas was keeping Ward, but they had a ton of offensive line injuries and panicked. Then the guy they got for Ward got hurt too and never played a down for the Cowboys.

Ward is right about the Cowboys' bad decisions, but when it comes to them trading him, hindsight is 20/20. He was a UDFA. If the rest of the NFL was right about Ward and the Cowboys were the dumb ones....than why wasn't Ward drafted?

:hammer::thumbup:

I can see that side of it. I really did not have an opinion one way or the other at that time. As there was still a lot of TC left. If they waited a week, then they may have kept him.

Hindsight is 20/20. But of course many will use this against the FO.
It is like saying the captain of the titanic should have know the iceberg was there.
i get what your saying Jazz but there is PLENTY of ammo to use against this FO if this CB never even stopped in Dallas.

What gets me about this comment is how things are changing in the way active players talk about the Cowboys. Seems like every few days, we're getting tweets and posts where some player still in the league and even potentially a FA at the time is out-right mocking the way the Cowboys do business. Basically burning their bridges with them. I'm not even against it since I really can't disagree much, just that we are hearing it so much more often.

I think we all know that Jerry is delusional enough that this doesn't affect what he does, but I have to wonder if this increased criticism is starting to get to him.
The Cowboys tried to get LB Dre Greenlaw in free agency this year. He was a guy they had interest in the draft but 49ers took him before their pick in the 5th round. The guy grew up in Fayetteville Arkansas and went to the University of Arkansas (in Fayetteville). Jerry and Stephen couldn't even get a guy from their neck of the woods. He chose the Broncos over the Cowboys.

That OL they got was garbage and never did a thing in the league.

Correct, but not a single person in the league at the time thought Ward would do anything either. It's like Tom Brady getting drafted at 199 overall. Who knew? Even the Patriots passed him over five times.
