Calling Mack classless for what he did during the OU/OSU game is not the same thing. I also said I would have been just as upset if Stoops did anything like that.

Stoops also refused the interview during the Texas/A&M game. Let us not forget that part.

Stoops could have easily taken it upon himself to do some more stooping for Oklahoma then. He chose not to.

Funny you say Mack is the classiest coach in college ball, but most of us here have issues w/ all of the whining that he does. It's not just this year.

I already noted about Stoops declining the interview and the reasons why. I have no problem with his decision not to but given Coach Mack's predicament going into the games last week, I'm having a hard time understanding why you have a problem with the way he handled it.

Mack gets a lot of respect from other coaches in the league (and members of the media) for reasons that were stated before. Mainly, he doesn't run up the score when the game is in the bag (as evidence with the last few games they played when their 2nd stringers went in the 4th qtr). There was a poll taken some time ago that rated Brown as one of the top five college football coaches in the nation. I'll dig around and see if I can pull it up but I want to be perfectly clear here, this isn't about which school has the best head football coach. I think OU, UT and even Tech were fortunate to get the coaches they currently have. Each one has their own merits that make them favorable to their respective teams but, imo, no one is better than the other.

I do have a lot of respect for Texas. If it were not for me being an Okie and growing up a Sooner fan, I would def be a Longhorn fan.

Don't tell anyone about that last part, K?

I was fortunate to live in the DFW area for a few years. I have often said how much I miss Texas and what a wonderful place it is.

It is probably the only place I truly enjoyed living in.

Austin is a beautiful and most entertaining city.

Don't worry buddy. Your secret is safe with me. There's no one here more trustworthy than yours truly. No one will ever hear it from me about you wanting to be a Longhorns fan if it wasn't for OU. Yessirree...
