Chase expected to get $40-41m per year making him the highest-paid non-QB in the NFL

Jerry’s just waiting for his next tv cameo appearance. He’s oblivious to the Micah deal. Just this small potatoes stuff.

Who is his agent btw?
you guys are the only oblivious people on the planet, you have nothing but opinion and NO knowledge of what's going on behind the scenes absolutely 0..Fans are clueless right Jerry wants to pay more has nothing to do what eh agent and player.. lmao.. :muttley:

.
we need to stop doing this..

We don't need to post every time another player makes a big contract and say it's Jerry's fault and we don't need to hear about this we already know about this I mean you all don't need to post every new contract if it has nothing to do with the Cowboys because it really doesn't they're not related....

the Cincinnati Bengals should be accused of waiting too long ,they're actually signing T Higgins to a ridiculous contract ,and adding jamar chase who they should have signed last year, and Jerry is the one being told he should hurry up!!!
literally this is the NFL, had nothing to do with each other, Parsons already stated he does not need to be the highest paid non quarterback, we'll see if he holds to his word, this not raising his price, this insane that you think so,
if it works out that way keep receipts, and we can talk but you can't do everything by everybody else's pace and Cincinnati screwed this all up themselves they overpaid severely for Jamar chase could have probably had him for 38 million last year(but they didint, funny thing when a player an agent say no to those type of numbers and they purposely wait so they can get paid more that's the irony here jamar chase did this to the Bengals but no one's blaming him and his agent they're blaming the NFL and their ownership is that they want to pay more for their players) and now they have to pay 42...

This is actually on Micah Parsons and his agents, believe that,

you think Jerry wants to pay more literally what's he supposed to do give a blank check to these players you all are insane it's obvious you don't run a $10 billion business, that you're not business people, they can't rush a contract if ALL parties are not making it easy.

You come to the realization that an agent and a player are doing everything they can to wait and hold things up so they can get more money/.FACT
I mean what is the owner supposed to do you show me proof that Jerry wants to pay more for these players and hasn't tried to offer more because you have no proof you have 0 because you're not in these meetings you're not on these phone calls you're not listening in on the zoom because it's agents who are lawyers and all this stuff is protected information no ones allowed to talk about it unless they all agree to say it therefore you don't know why it's being held up with last I checked no business purposely wants to pay their employees more money it tells me that the agents and players are playing hardball and there's nothing you can do about it as an owner except keep negotiating..

How about pat Jerry on the back because we all know that lamb did this on purpose, he waited and waited and waited and now they got him for the third overall cost of a wide receiver.. How quick was that all of a sudden it doesn't seem that big it's more like 4th overall in non quarterback money in less than a year.

. I guess that's a win for the owner and I guess for the fans 'cause somehow this is coming out of your checking account apparently because you worry about players money and you think that it's Jerry Jones and it gets old you all have zero clue we call it being clueless because you you know what's going on but you really don't social media is not full of accurate information and that's all you know is what you're getting from Twitter and Bleacher Report and ESPN and they have no real inside information even though you think they're called insiders...

To be honest the Cowboys don’t have to extend Parsons. For the money he will command you might be better off tagging him twice. It’s gonna take some time but a deal might get done over the summer. Let’s just hope he doesn’t hold out although I don’t think it would matter much. Parsons job is to hit the quarterback. It’s not like Ceedee who has to get chemistry with the quarterback and the new offensive wrinkles over the summer.
Tagging a potentially high paid player is good for the owner's wallet, not so good for the team or cap. Letting him play out this year and tagging him twice are cap hits of 24, 26, and 32M for the next three years. That's way worse than if they extend him. Jerry would like that because it's not 160m.

We really don't know what goes on behind closed doors. Cinci should have extended Chase last year. It would have saved them money, and been more cap friendly. Why didn't they do it? Chase as asking for it.

You are correct mostly. Cap could be 300 million in 2 years so Dak and Micah at a 110 million cap hit combined after next year is not as bad. IT still limits what the team could do in a lot of ways.

Lamb is going to get a HUGE extension to bring that to 150 million after next year for the 3 players. So 3 teammates getting over half of the salary cap in one year hinders the team.
Of course it does, especially when the QB is terrible vs good teams AND now he probably cant move worth a da_!

I am probably getting ahead of myself here but the way Micah has been defending the Cowboys on social media. A deal might be coming soon.
I hope it's a deal to trade Parsons. He's a one trick pony who can't control his opponent's run game on his side. The dude get's manhandled by linemen who are bigger and stronger than he is.

Can he play QB? Because 50 million a year for anything but a QB is crazy. Micah is my favorite Cowboys player but this is getting too expensive now. Even trading him from what the other members of the forum have said is unreasonable now with the amount he will be asking to be paid.
It would be crazy to pay Parsons $40M or more. He has one sack and one QB hit in four playoff games. Practically every contending team we play is able to neutralize him. He never shows up in big games against great teams.

So just with the additional money we will need to give Micah by waiting we could have had Greenlaw over one of these backups. The incompetence never stops rearing its ugly head in Dallas and this moron owner tries to tell everyone he is the best man for the job. Doesn't he realize the only one who believes him is his dopey son?

Parsons is a top 3 NFL defender on a Hall of Fame projection. Get out of here.
