I’m a little bummed. I can’t help but feel we could have taken Adderley and then moved up in the draft and taken Tristin Hill in the 80’s or even Khalen Saunders. I don’t think we played it too well.

I was looking at some of my muchk drafts. Well, not really mocks, more of a list of 2 to 3 players I listed to take in each round depending who was available. But never went back to finish it off. One of them I had Adderley then Hill.

Seems like a good character guy

Well anyone can put up a facade in an interview, but he does seem pretty genuine and humble here. Granted it was when he had just arrived. I'm wondering if the new coaching staff his senior year didn't rub him the right way, like a Todd Haley situation. He seems to get along with Marinelli, so if that old bum can get him motivated then I hope it works out.

I would definitely try to move up for CGJ ; he's only 21 and has the speed and athleticism teams look for in a safety.............I'm concerned with great football players on the Cowboys , not someone who interviews well..................He's only 21................I thought I knew everything at that age , and sadly , I still don't know anything , 30 years later....................

We only like guys who have this / by there names as in DE/DT - CB/S As in guys who can play both but not good at either

He had a horrible interview/visit with them. And apparently with the other 32 teams as well. Guy had 2nd round talent.

But we were ok taking a kid with lackluster tape and talent who played lesser competition and quit on his team, because Marinelli likes him.

I don't think Berry ever plays 16 games in a season. He was bound for greatness, but his body is an egg shell now and he's missed so much time. Unless it's for a very minimal cash deal, I wouldn't touch him.

For what purpose would 32 teams refuse to draft him? What do the teams gain from that?

The DT had no character problems. He didn’t like his role in the scheme change so he didn’t get along with the coaches. His immaturity is in how he dealt with it. If they change to a 3-4 here it’s probably wise to let him go.

Well him not doing his job and just gripn is a character issue. It's the same with TO crying and not getting along with his coaches because he doesn't get enjoy touches.
