Agree, still wonder if he's just unlucky or his pain tolerance isn't where it needs to be.

Green is a solid OLineman, having shown the ability to play T, or G. But like @Qbert said, Green just needs to be healthy.

I'm fine with Chaz Green protecting Prescott's blind side.

I'd run a lot of slow developing plays on Sunday.

Tyron sitting was precautionary..I think he said that himself.

Out of him, Dez and Williams...I am by far the most confident he plays.

Don't be surprised if Tyron plays vs. Atlanta. If both himself and Jerry think he's fine, he should be ready by game time. Not to worry.

What else is Tyron and Jerry going to say right after a game so as to not give the opponent an advantage in preparing? If you look deeper to what beat writers are saying on twitter, they are not quite as confident. A soft tissue injury to groin is not easy to return from in a week.

No real news in dallas news article (Not allowed to post) but definitely a different vibe from headline of "Smith could miss game with strained groin."

Don't have him step up too fast...... he'll blow a hammy or something.

We may not know anything for sure until game time approaches. Tyron said he's fine and the reason he left the field was merely precautionary. That doesn't sound like anyone who isn't likely to play. There's a great difference between a tear and a slight strain. We'll know for sure at or around game time.

If Green must take his place, so be it. He does very well if and when he's healthy. If so, there's no doubt that he'll do his best. It'd be a step down for sure but not any worse than if Tyron played injured. Whatever happens, the opposition will prepare as if Tyron will play, whether he actually does or not.

Green started 2 games at LT last season and played well.
That he did. I am actually fairly concerned about Smith’s growing list physical issues this season (it’s all tied to the back issue as his movements become less and less fluid, he opens himself up to other injuries). He’s battled but he’s clearly hobbling and struggling mightily against change of direction. The refs also have him targeted for holding a lot now because his foot movement isn’t as agile...he’s paying the price with a great deal more attention from the zebras...even the ticky-tack calls. It might do him some good to sit this game and get refreshed. I think Green can hold it down with some help from the RB and TE from time to time. We need Smith in top form for the stretch run and him continuing to play with nagging injuries is just breaking him down.

Tyron is out, not making trip to Atlanta....................not very confident in Chaz Green playing LT, got to be honest.
