one clear noticeable characteristic in almost all knock offs is the sewn letters
it feels and looks like paper. not like the thick durable sewn on ones. it normally doesnt sit right, is an inaccurate size and doesnt have the correct detailing. im im talking about high price knock offs to. i have seen and can spot them all from a mile away
back in hs me and my boys use to especially laugh at cats that had throwbacks from mitchell and ness that didnt even exist lmao. like a jordan mitchell and ness jersey. especially the number 45 one lmao!!!
another dead giveaway is most fakes are more sheer and transparent
you can see through a lot of them.
i just cant wear counterfeit stuff no fake designer stuff. fake gucci shoes or jerseys for me. if thats your thing and you feel comfortable go right ahead. fine. i just cant roll around like that
i can.
you say anyone who's owned both can spot it. wrong. i've owned a lot of "official" jerseys and to be frankly honest, got tired of paying $100 to get iron ons that fade in a year of good use.
how is charging more making it better? i put my fakes next to the real ones and i can spot some differences, but nothing tragic. the quality has been just as good as my game worn jersey i have.
the only jerseys i've ever had fall apart are the iron on ones the cowboys would gladly sell for way too much money.
i'm sorry, paying 5x as much for the same cloth isn't smart - it's just buying into the hype.
if that's what you're into - have fun. in the end they're likely a better jersey. but not better enough for me to see the $ difference.
some people treat this like religion. it's just a shirt people. chill.
