Cheating Jets get a slap on the wrist

A slap on the wrist is far worse than just getting a pass like the Pats and Mr Krafty got with the tampering charge brought against them by the Jets.

That's because the Patriots didn't tamper. It is moronic to say an owner's "gee we're sorry to see him go" comment is even remotely considered tampering.

Boy for someone who claims to care about fairness, rules, competitive balance, and integrity of the game, you sure don't seem to care one bit about blatant rules violations by any team not named "New England." Why is that?

A $100,00 fine for Johnson's comment isn't a slap on the wrist. That is a hefty fine for a single comment.

During the 2014 season, Johnson said, “I’d love for Darrelle to come back.”

If they found out Johnson held meetings or private conversations with Revis then it would warrant an even larger fine, but a one off statement does not. It isn't even comparable to Spygate. What a laughable comparison.

$100,000 is a slap on the wrist for a team which can expect $300 million in revenue this year.

You're right; spygate was much, much less of a violation. Everyone was filming signals, but not everyone tampers.

Everyone was filming signals until the league told them to stop. Everyone stopped except the Patriots.

It's absolutely hilarious how all the people who claim to care about competitive balance and the integrity of the game are doing everything they can to make excuses for the teams (not named New England) caught violating the rules.

All it does is prove that I am right once again: Deflategate isn't about the rules or integrity of the game or anything like that. It is about nothing but peoples' personal vendettas and attempts to attack the Patriots for any reason imaginable.

Whats absolutely hilarious and beyond ridiculous is how you constantly try to defend known cheaters and then whine, and piss and moan about the integrity of the game.

Whine, whine, whine! The Jets tampered and they were rightfully punished, but that isn't good enough for you.

Yea, the owner answered a question he was asked and then gets hit with a "tampering" fine for a player the Pats didnt try to keep anyway.

Goodell has a nice warm spot in Mr Krafty's back pocket . . . .

Just promise me you will call it "rightfully punished" if the Patriots gets $50,000 fine for deflategate or something like that.

Like I said..... the people who complain about the Patriots the loudest don't give 2 turds about rules or integrity of the game. They just want to attack the Patriots out of jealousy.

Since when does that matter?

OK according to your own logic the Patriots blew out the Colts in the AFCCG. They would have won anyway, so a little deflation doesn't matter.

You are such a broken record!

Bro, this is a DALLAS COWBOYS forum. We are Cowboys fans. Why would we be jealous of the Cheatriots? We have more Super Bowl appearances and Super Bowl wins. Oh, and BTW, we have never been accused of or caught cheating en route to our Super Bowls. No taint or tarnish on our Lombardi's. A regal history with numerous star players and HOFer's. We have a rich heritage of QB's from Meredith, Staubach, White, Aikman, and Romo, and the Pats have Steve Grogan, Bledsoe, and the cheater Tom Cry Brady.

Please tell all of us Cowboy fans why we would be jealous of Cheaters . . . . .

the pats cheated they admitted were fined and the head coach should o f been suspended for a year.
