Yeah, I'm pretty clever, huh? /sarcasm

It was so stupid and corny I almost didn't type it.
Yeah, but I giggled. So, it was worth it. :)

What's "new" about him? He had a tank-like physique before he got here.

Clearly brett favre lied to me, I am selling my bowflex for scrap metal, I was about the same size as tank when he got here. I was all puffed out lately cause I thought I was huge, stupid professional athletes raining on my parade.

We really didn't get to see his tank-like physique last year. So it's "new" to me.

Besides it's the offseason Mr. Sunshine. Lighten up.

He will be a FA but unless he has an amazing season we won't have to worry about him being priced right out of Dallas. I think if he starts showing he's going to be a real force for us that they'll get him an extention done sometime before the end of the regular season.

He looks like he's in great shape for his position though. Looking forward to seeing what he can do for us with more reps and time in the defense.

there don't seem to be many true leaders on this team YET, which may ultimately be the reason we haven't won a playoff game YET. but before our eyes you can see the leadership developing in certain players. Tank seems born to it, from the comments I've read. It will be very interesting to watch how he and Rat are used in the rotation.

i'm sure everyone here knows Rat got thrown into the fire as a NT, but hard work brought well-earned success. He and Tank will be physically stronger and more familiar with their roles in the defense. and simply having that rotation will punish a lot of OL. can't wait for the season to start already... :)

Yes, I think Tank will make a big move this year, and he will only make ratliff,

TO me look at it this way, Tank Will bruise them up, and then RAtliff will go around them. Also, at times they might use Ratliff at DE on obvious passing downs. I havent heard anything about it, but that might happen.

I think also Tank will inspire Canty and Hatcher to play better too.

Yes, TAnk is a free agent after this year, thats why I think the Cowboys freed up 8 million dollars for next year, plus most likely some Dallas Cowboys like Tony Curtis last year, that didnt reach his incentive bonuses to make a miliion or so, will be added another 3-4 million. Possibly say Bartel not reaching incentives, then they can add that to the already 8 million, plus the 3-4 for Bartel and the 7-8 million added each year for the salary cap.

That should give us about 18 to 21 million extra to spend. Which we will need to lock up Tank Johnson, Canty, Ware and maybe Columbo. Cant think of any others, oh yeah Burnett too. I think Hurd also if he is still with the team which I think he will be. Maybe Watkins too, but i think we will have enough to do that.

Finally we have 8 million plus this yeer, that will probably used for the draft I think costs us 2.8 million for that, keep 2 million for emergencies, and 3.2 millioin to sign Hamlin, that should lock us up for a 5-7 year run at super bowls.

tank is at the top of the list of players who i cannot wait to see play this year. hope he has a strong season and gets a good extension during the season. I would hate to see him go...have a suspicion he is going to be a beast for us.

Folks haven't talked about this much but Tank is a free agent at the end of the year
He's still in the trial period. He played pretty well last year considering the situation. But we still don't know exactly what he's fully capable of yet as a 3-4 NT. If he lights it up, it wouldn't surprise me to see Canty gone, Ratliff at RDE and Tank starting at the nose.

Depending on what Canty is asking for I can see both Tank get a deal along with canty. Considering we didn't sign or draft a NT shows that they might like him at NT and if needed on certain plays at DE. I guess we will find out more this coming season. Can't wait for it to start!
