why doesn't Romo throw any checkdowns to our running backs anymore?

he did. That's how Barber broke lose and we scored a FG right before the half. Maybe he should more often instead of forcing it to the NOT OPEN WRs.

not when you know its only gonna go for 2 yards, or even worst the RB gets popped

i am sure he would do this all day if he could

Yeah and I think he missed Felix on another one.

It is a word people have heard more than a concept they get.

If he would check down to Felix, I would think he would have a ton of big plays.

Yep, wide open and just overthrew him the ball!
Doesn't seem like he has chemistry with Felix just yet. Should we start a thread about it? :D

He was off all night. He threw it too high for Felix and once it popped up in the air I thought it was going to get picked.

Sometimes there is not a back to check down to because they stay in to block, which is pretty important when facing a good pass rush team like the Giants.

That's what it appears to be, IMO. I'm holding out hope that will develop. Good things seem to happen more often than not when those two connect on check-downs or even screens.

Tony should be taken to task for some really careless mistakes, and he should be past some of those things. I do believe the way this offense is supposedly designed to operate, we should see improvement in this area.

Maybe I am too optimistic on this point, particularly given the history. I just see many really good things, particularly with the offensive line and backs, that are undone by a couple of really dumb, dumb, dumb mistakes.
