I know it's early but check this out. If current seedings hold.

Division champs 1-4 seeds (1) Colts (2) Ravens (3) Charges (4) Pats
Assumming the Charges and Pats win at home in the wildcard round this sets up two very very nice Divisional match ups that I will not miss.

You've got the Pats on the road in Indy. I know Indy won in NE, but this is the post season. Great game. Tough to call.

And then you have probably the most dangerous if not best team in the Chargers on the road. Rivers and all world LT against the leagues best defense. Another tough game to call.

It needs to be Pats @ Colts and Chargers @ Ravens. That evens the odds and sets up the intrigue.

anyone want to set up the NFC.

If that happens, I'd take the Colts, and (as much as it hurts me to say) the Chargers.

OK I'll do the NFC. This is how I see the seedings at seasons end.

Chicago(1) Dallas(2) Seattle(3) Carolina(4) NewOrleans(5) S.F.(6)

Who do you want in Dallas for round 2.

Of any of those 4? Definitely San Francisco.

Unfortunately, if SF is the 6 seed then they will automatically go to Chicago with a win. The #2 seed can't play the #6 seed in the divisional round.

If that situation were true, we'd get winner of Carolina/NO at home, and we'll know how we'd fare against them since we had played both.

I'd take Nawlins in Texas Stadium in a heartbeat.

edit: Yes, I would definately want to watch those two AFC games. Of course, I usually watch every playoff game anyway.

Seattle is terrible but they'll win their division most likely. So I'm really hoping Dallas can get the 2nd seed and Carolina 3rd. The only team I'd be afraid of playing in the NFC are the Panthers even though we beat them already this year. They're still the best opponent to me and they have a good shot at winning out the rest of the way.

Hoping it turns out to be
1. Bears
2. Cowboys
3. Panthers
4. Seattle
5. NO
6. NYG

Really don't care who's 5 and 6, but that way Panthers play the 6th seed and they should kill them to go on to the bears. Seattle and some other decent NFC team should be 4/5 and I'm not seeing any terrible matchups that can give the Cowboys trouble there. Cowboys need that 2nd seed though for sure. Although I suppose 3rd seed, taking out the 6th seed to get rid of that no playoff wins in 10 years garbage then playing the bears afterwards is fine too. I just would rather play the bears on the road than the Panthers again.

Oh yeah, true.

I'd probably take New Orleans at Dallas then. (Here's to crossing my fingers that some horrible team like SF makes the 5th seed)

I don't wanna play Carolina again, they'll have a bone to pick with us.

Here's how I see things happening.

1. Bears
2. Cowboys
3. Panthers
4. Seahawks
5. Giants
6. New Orleans

With that said, I see the Panthers beating New Orleans, and the Seahawks beating the Giants. Sets up these two games:

Panthers @ Bears - I see the Bears winning this one.
Seahawks @ Cowboys - I think we win this, putting us in the NFC Champ game

Cowboys @ Bears - depends on which Grossman comes out to play. Also, are we going to commit all thsoe penalties?

I see the Chargers making the Super Bowl, although I think that the Ravens are the ones who can challenge the Chargers in the AFC.

I'd love to see Dallas douse San Diego in the Super Bowl.

I.

Just judging from the highlights, etc. it seems that SF is starting to get it together. Their D is playing pretty well and Gore is doing very well. I hate them and I haven't watched one of their games all year, but my impression is that they are getting better all the time.

Has anyone watched them lately, that can comment on their play at this time?
