For some strange reason this loss didn't "hurt" as much as the loss to Seattle, Oak, and Denver and the 1st loss to the skins. All 4 of those games the Cowboys should have won. This game...they weren't even in it from the beginning. At times, that will happen, however frustrating it is.
1) This might be the end of Zimmer. Good riddance. Hello Dom Capers as defensive coordinator.
2) This might be the end of Cundiff. Good riddance. Bring back Suizham (sp?)
3) The Cowboys will be motivated next week. Nobody needs to say anything.

Yeah-at the same time, bad things can be GOOD things in disguise.(i.e. Erik Williams getting injured hurt our 3-peat chances-but Larry Allen subsequently emerged, which helped us win a Super Bowl a year later)

I fully expect Parcells to finally revamp his coaching staff this offseason. I don't think he himself is the problem, but his assistants.

Wow, they couldn't get motivated this week against their hated rival who embarassed them in the first meeting this year and a chance to still control their own playoff destiny?
I am not so sure they don't show up like beaten dogs next week and just roll over. Carolina is way better than the 'skins.

I agree. We've had chances to wrap up the playoffs for games now and have been unable to get it done. I don't think that changes this week.

"The Cowboys will be motivated next week".....

If it takes an kicking like this to motivate a team into playing well, then this team has NO shot at the playoffs, besides when is the last time this team won 4 in a row.....

Personally both the losses to the Commanders sucked...this one sucked more IMO because we were manhandled in all aspects of the game.

I totally agree with 1) I hope Capers comes in here, or better yet Butch Davis.
