Says both the league and union are trying hard to reach a deal.

for those that dont know. Pitts a guard for the Texans and he's a player rep for the union.

Good to hear somebody involved with the situation say theyre trying hard to come to terms instead of these media idiots trying to tell us their opinion based on nobody is talking to them.

I sure hope so. Otherwise they have been killing an awful lot of good time for nothing these last few days.

It would be great to get a deal done. I hope the deal involves sticking with the 16 game regular season for safety reasons.

Hell they can cut it back to 14 games and maybe have games Mon & Thurs. instead of 6 on Sun. with most on at the same time. :D

i think if there was no progress being made they wouldnt be meeting now. I doubt the mediator wouldve let it even reach them 7 days of talks. with this new doty kink i think a deal gets done.
