Maybe it was sore and with the bye week kept him out. Let's hope he can get over this nagging hamstring

(Oct. 8; 9 p.m.) – Rookie Chidobe Awuzie suffered a hamstring injury in the second half of Sunday’s loss to the Packers and did not return.

The Cowboys’ second-round pick has battled hamstring tightness at times since training camp and had missed the previous two games due to the same issue.

Primarily working at cornerback since he joined the Cowboys, Awuzie entered the game at safety in the second quarter against the Packers, replacing starter Jeff Heath in a rotation next to Byron Jones.

Was he injury prone in college? I'm asking because I really don't know. Hammys can nag for a while. Let's not write him off just yet.

Soft tissue injuries take time to heal. Chidobe keeps seeing the field earlier than time required for his hamstring strain to heal. This is why he keeps going out.

He isn't a bust.

Calm yourselves. He is being pushed to action faster because of this dumpster fire defense.
