Adam Schefter of ESPN reports the Chiefs informed defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast early Wednesday that they would be terminating his contract one year after hiring him from Arizona, according to sources close to the situation.
Romeo Crennel was hired today as Chiefs defensive coordinator.
