Chiefs are on their way in for at least the tie, and the refs make a completely ridiculous overturn of a call on the field. Not good for us or anyone in the NFC.

Call on field was runner down. Impossible to overturn but they did. Of course when it happened to us the refs went the other way

It was bad call but Alex Smith didn't exactly help matters throwing a pick when the Chiefs were leading. The Cards will lose on Thursday at St. Louis. I just had a feeling this was the last win the Cards were going to win this year. They were at home playing against KC and their anemic offense. It was perfect medicine for them.

With SF losing, it would be nice if AZ folded b/c they have the tie-breaker on us.
Oh well.

Is it just me, or don't we want Cards to win division?

It's not you. You are right, Arizona winning their division is a good thing. If they slip to wild card status, they could bump an 11 win Dallas team out due to a better record vs. conference opponents and the head to head win.

If this is what you meant.....

Will likely cost me the office pool too.

Are you sure about that? They have to play against the nirs the last game and they just lost to the raiders. The Niners offense is completely in disarray.

I'm not sure but I said in the Seattle Philly game thread that game may decide our fate if we lost to Philly again or the Colts. We could be 10-5 going into the final game and they could be 10-5 going into that final game and needing to win and they lose to get in to the playoffs. It's going to be interesting every week from now on.

Don't know about the call. I was at the game and it looked like the right call to me. He clearly lost possession before he was down. Looked like he might have re-possessed it but it would have been for a fraction of a second before he lost it again. I think that having lost it on the way down that he needed to keep possession in order for it to not be ruled a fumble.
