I’m not sure about what I’m fixing to say but wasn’t Mahomes drafted 2017 right after DAK. And he had a spectacular rookie season with honors. It would be difficult to go after another Quarterback after a season like that. Now it is a shame the jury didn’t but I can see why

I just meant that Jerry would've never done what the Chiefs did because he would think that Alex Smith just needs a few more pieces and we're Super Bowl bound instead of seeing that Alex Smith was the problem.
