From Wiki (I know I know but still)...

2019 season
Jones suffered an important decline in productivity, averaging 41.6 gross yards and a 37-yard net average per attempt. Both stats were the NFL’s lowest. At the end of the season, it was reported in the media that he played through a back and sports hernia injury.
Ya' don't want a hernia. Surprises me that they let guys play with those. Needs surgery and several weeks rest at the least.

Interesting. Had no idea Jones was hurt as there was not much (if any) reports of it during the season. He was once a Pro Bowler, so hopefully he's 100% healthy now and can more than regain his form with Fassel as his coach.

Hernias are painful and nagging things. Hope Jones recovers but if not, we'll be in the market for a punter, no doubt.
I'm wondering if he's already had surgery.

I said this already, but...if he was hurt, and that's why he was punting so badly, why was he not placed on IR and replaced?
