End of the day, a year after the Green Bay playoff debacle, and Jerry decides to hire Shotty as the head coach, in your opinion did Jerry see in Shotty what no one else in the NFL saw or did Jerry see the status quo and realize he had nothing to lose by getting out cheap to hire a guy that fills the position and a change has been made?

I believe Jerry took the short and easy way out to make a change to show he's trying to do something. Shotty is one of the lowest paid head coaches in the NFL for a reason. No clue what Parker makes (does anyone?) but the reality is the Cowboys organization now isn't a place you want to be as a coach IMO, but a stepping stone in hopes to bigger and better things to make a name for yourself. That's the pessimist in me

What happened to Parker is no different than what happened to Moore to some extent.

Oh I think they could have took more time, and did more due diligence. But we do not know all the ends and outs of it all.
Even though some think they do. But that is their own opinion.
All we can do is sit back, and see how it unfolds. He will get a 3rd year in spite what some fans want.

I only posted a few thongs after the loss. I did not want to react to too many posts as I knew everyone posting on emotions. Or most anyway.

I wanted to wake up and have a clear head to reflect upon the painful night.
I did sleep well. It did not make me toss and turn. So will spend time throughout the day trying to catch up on it all.
