We've all seen this by now, but it's worth a million watches. And the comments section honors Jason Witten's career as well as anything.

It's also Garrett at his very best. If you haven't seen this, THIS is how you honor someone.

The most amazing part about it to me was Witten's choice on the option. As Garrett said, the "textbook", coached answer on that play, facing under-man coverage is to cut outside - getting outside the linebacker in coverage and avoiding the safeties over the middle.

Witten is so damn good and understands the play so completely that he defies all normal logic and chooses to break in.

And he can tell you, explaining literally every position on the field, why he made that choice.

He's not just screwing around or taking a risk - he knows exactly what he's doing. And by bucking all conventional wisdom, he literally saves the Cowboys season. The guy was absolutely special.

If I were that defender, I would have stayed on the ground, took off my shoes, and took them to Jason Witten. I would've said thank you for showing me I'm not good enough to play this game anymore.

I mean, they are behind the Athletic wall, but I guess we just take Sturm's posts now.

Edit: Love all of it tho.
