Reminds me of that story a few months (a year maybe?) ago about that "super" chimp in an African wilderness refuge, that was attacking tourists. They said he was unusually large for a chimp, some said 6ft tall, and would attack standing upright on his hind legs. The attacks finally stopped when an American tourist stabbed him with a stick, wielding it like a spear, and he ran off into the wilderness.
