Chip kicks another one off Kelly Island : CB Brandon Boykin to the Steelers for a conditional pick

In his apparently never ending quest to ensure that as little non running back talent as possible threatens to interfere with his scheme, Chip has traded CB Brandon Boykin to the Steelers for a conditional pick. I know that Boykin at one time has voiced frustration with the team's reluctance to let him move out of the slot role, but Kelly really seems to have an aversion to talent.

He seems to be making it a priority to change the culture to meet his vision. It's a dangerous game to play in the pros where the talent margins are so thin. I'll still not declare his demise yet as some of the moves indicate a change in approach that may pay off. Still tough to bleed off talent though.

Obviously a cut/traded player is disgruntled to some degree, but not sure I've ever seen this many insinuate race/culture as an issue with the coach on their way out.

I don't really buy the race angle, but the perception is certainly there. Even Tra Thomas as a coach alluded to it.
