This guy plays with a chip on his shoulder.

He felt he slipped in the draft

He feels like he deserves more touches

He feels like he can start in the NFL

When he gets in a game, he wants to show what he can do.

That is the mentality of a 3rd string RB will all the aforementioned qualities.

The HIGHLY PAID coaches need to KNOW hot to utilize the players. Garrett put Choice in a bad situation.

What many of us fail to accept, is that Garrett has NOT been doing this very long. And he better save the money he is getting paid...because he is coaching himself BACK into becoming a QB coach

When Jim Zorn was hired by Snyder to be the offensive coordinator...he had NEVER called plays at ANY level. Then out of nowhere, not only was he the offensive coordinator..they made him the HEAD coach. We all know the rest of the story.

Jason Garrett had NEVER called plays at ANY level. He was a QBs coach. Well we gave him the job...and he is doing his best to return to his old position of QBs coach. THank GOD we did not make him the head coach

When I watch this team I keep asking myself why did ANY of us think this year will be any different. Wade is who he is. Garrett is still LEARNING and this OL is still average. We will win 9-11 games this year and then we will bow out.

Shanahann, Norv, Wade, Andy Reid, Kevin Gilbride etc....these guys have been calling plays 10, 20, 30+ years....Garrett looks like a guy who has been calling plays less than 5 years. Because guess what, he has been!

If what he "does" is fumble the ball in critical moments, then what Choice will be doing soon is not playing in the NFL.

you are missing the point. The point is....take a knee!

Yeah right. As bad as a mistake as that was by Choice people are forgetting something that was mentioned. It was his first career fumble. I think Choice has shown plenty for us to believe that he's worth keeping and it's amazing to me to see some people on the board upset that RW gets attacked and aren't defending Choice just as hard.

Maybe if Romo would have enough sense to just go down and go into the half instead of making a lateral with no time and seventy yards to go.....or does Romo always get a pass in your mind..

Romo should have thrown it away, if there was nobody open. You can't fault Choice for running with the ball that was thrown to him. You can fault him for not making ball protection his first priority.

Every QB in the NFL dumps off to his RB to end the half. Peyton. Brady. You name it. It happens multiple times every week in the NFL. It should be as safe of a play as there is in the NFL. Should be .. .when you don't have an idiot RB who gets stripped of the ball trying to fight for an extra half yard with a second left and 60 yards to go.

The hilarious thing is all of Choice's scrotum polishers are basically saying it's Romo and Garrett's fault for trusting Choice to not make a boneheaded play. Fair enough. Lesson learned. Let's agree on common ground .... it would be extremey stupid of Romo to ever trust Choice again, and let's hope he never does. He's simply shown he's not worthy of trust. If Romo trusts him again and Choice fumbles like a braindead idiot, I will fully put the blame on Romo for not learning his lesson that Choice is a complete idiot.

no that's not what we're saying, it's stupid to even try any play when you have four seconds and seventy yards to go...............when Barber, who will cough up the ball far more this year than Choice ever will, lets see where you stand then....how was that halfback option play call for you,,,pathetic!!!!

I agree we should have taken a knee that does not take anything away for Choice fumbling the ball. Wade did not fumble it nor did Garrett the responsibility for hanging on to the ball is the ball carrier no one else.

Having said that all Choice can do is shake it off and get himself ready for next week’s game.

I have no problem with TC trying to make something happen but I do with him not protecting the football. It's his first mistake and not the reason they lost the game. They lost the game because of an idiot RT.

Bingo!

For as many people saying Choice should have taken a knee isn't it as equally fair to ask Romo to take a knee as well?

:lmao2:

This is a STUPID thread.

Choice has done nothing, but good for this team. Last night was his first fumble he has ever had.

**** happens, get a grip.

Well, and the fact that the play the fumble happen on never should have occurred.

I like to think that there is something called "situational football". In that sitaution Choice needs to understand that he just needs to get to the ground with the ball ASAP. So anyway, I fault Choice for not being aware of the situation as well as the staff for not having the players properly prepared to face those situations.

Are you a relative of Choices or Romo's. The ball should hae been thrown into the 10th row of seats behind the sidelines. romo was out of the pocket and had nothing down the field. Choice should have belly flopped after catching the "lateral". Anyone with eyes could see that any yards that would have been picked up would have been minimal, not 70yards. It was a dumb play that was made even more dumber by the 2 players that touched the ball on that play. most of the blame falls on the RHJ, then wade, then romo and then choice.

Apparently what Choice does is fumble in critical situations, not pitch the ball to a player who would have easily scored and who the play was ultimately designed for, and make 2 yard runs out of the wildcat.

The blame for the fumble falls on the player who fumbled the ball. Every
QB in the NFL will end the half check off to the dump off to the RB in the flat. It's what QB's are supposed to do, becuase it's considered the safe play ... when the RB isn't a complete and total moron.

I agree. But that play shouldn't even have happened.

lame should go to four people. Wade for not telling garret to take knee, choice for fumbling, Romo for not going down, and garrett for making that horrendous call in the first place.
