GAC was talking about how Choice was dancing around the locker room and in a great mood as if someone had told him he was going to get the ball a lot this week.

Well, Steve Dennis just called in to say that on Monday, Wade told Choice, "It's your time. Get ready."

So who knows exactly what that means as far as the other backs are concerned, but it seems that you TC fans will get your wish.

I personally haven't ever been that impressed with Choice, but at this point I'd rather he get carries than Marion Barber.

Choice deserves his shot now.. Especially over Barber. Its time to see what they have with alot of these guys. Well its time to see what they can do , and put it on game tape for the new coach that comes in after the season.

Tashard Choice believes he's back in RB rotation

IRVING, Texas – Tashard Choice can’t wait to get to Green Bay.

That’s because he expects to have a significant role in the offense for the first time since the bye week.

“I’m going to show up. If I’m in, I’m on,” Choice said. “And it’s on Sunday night, I promise you that.”

According to Choice, Phillips told him to be ready because he was going to be back in the mix offensively.

“I move on, but I don’t bury it,” said Choice, who had never fumbled in the NFL until that play. “It will be in every carry that I run from here on out. I blame myself. I don’t care if it’s 11-on-1. As a running back, you’ve got two things you’ve got to do in the NFL. You’ve got to hold onto the ball and protect your quarterback.”

Barber, who is averaging only 3.0 yards per carry, said he wouldn’t have a problem with the running back rotation changing.

"You do what your boss asks you to do," Barber said.

Eh...he'll get 3 carries, get nowhere behind that busted offensive line, and then Wade will bring in Barber for the rest of the game.

What?

It means he's not going to let the fumble get him down, but at the same time he's not going to forget about it.

Let me get this straight.

1. People love him.
2. He fumbles once
3. people hate him
4. people despise him
5. Jones and Barber suck
6. people love Choice again.

Strange place.

i think he's saying that he's moved on from his fumble in week 1, but won't forget it.

Okay, that makes sense. Would've helped if MacMahon would've mentioned that play before the quote.

“I move on, but I don’t bury it,” said Choice, who had never fumbled in the NFL until that play.

"That play" wasn't ever referenced.

Alot of going back and forth on this board... I like Choice. I dont think he's starting RB material, but a great backup. And seems to be a great locker room guy. He's a guy you find on Championship teams... Unfortunately he didnt get drafted by one.

a bunch of you choice haters better get ready to eat crow. when he is successful this weekend, im serving it up to all of you.

Let him have at it and time to churn this roster. Get these guys on film for the next coach and do the right thing.

I love it. Get the offensive guys out there, get those younger defensive guys out there, You believe you want to be a Dallas Cowboy, you believe you are owed that chance, go out and do it. Prove it to the next HC and his staff. Show me, Show us what you got.

nope. a minority of us have been on the Choice bandwagon for 2+ years.

we know who we are. we will expose all the fakes.

This is the type of energy this team needs. Guy is like a little fat boy about to get some ice cream. I hope he gets the ball early and often. Trying to pick him up on my fantasy team this week.

Of course Choice would start acting a fool, I hope he rushes for 300 yards though. lol

I want that good draft pick though guys, so let's not get carried away with this fundamentals nonsense. Either make the playoffs or get that cherry draft pick!

I like Choice and think he will do well, but whether in your camp or mine, we may now both get to see what we need to so we can evaluate him and develop a more nformed opinion. Since Barber isn't doing so well, this sounds like a good idea because the team needs to decide as well.

I hope this isn't true because this whole story is a non-story if it is.

He should be getting all of Barber's carries, but I think people who believe he is suddenly going to ignite a totally lousy run game are going to be disappointed.

Its the blocking people.
