Choice needs to start

I think Choice and Jones need to split carries. Barber gives us zero threat to outside due to his lack of speed so everything tends to get packed in when he is in the game. Unfortunately, this isn't the OL of mid-90s with Emmitt's vision, power and balance at the RB position so it just isn't going to work.

Garrett will keep going out there pretending that Barber is Emmitt and we will continue to be unable to establish an effective running game.

I believe Choice is the closes to Emmitt than anybody on this Roster right now.

he probably won't get it but he needs to and either get Folk a new holder or he needs to be released. This dude is costing us games, points anything you can name at this point.

that would require coaches THINKING and making sense.... something absent for years in valley ranch.

barber never was and never will be a STARTER. the guy is slow, cant find a hole and frankly is football STUPID. jerry overpaid for him which was nuts and a first guess.

choice is our best all-around back and should be our starter but jason won't get that memo until next year. our staff is always late figuring things out.

I believe Choice is the closes to Emmitt than anybody on this Roster right now.

Choice is the closest thing to Emmitt and is also our most complete back overall. He doesn't have Barber's power or Felix's speed but he does have the best vision amongst them all. He also brings alot of heart and effort and I think he would do well as the starter with a bit of Felix mixed in.

I thought Felix was ready to start but he's still not quite right with the knee. Next year out of TC, Felix should be the starting RB and get 15 touches a game and we should let Choice get about 10 touches a game.

I also suggest we find someone else to run KOs and punts and should maybe draft someone for the purpose. I think Ogletree is a bit too thin for the role and don't want Felix or Choice getting injured returning KOs.

Is it just me or did the media and people WAY overrate our RBs? Barber has lost it and gains more negative yards and positive. Jones can not stay healthy at all and when he is not 100%, he is any other Joe Blow rb out there. Choice is ok but nothing special.

I believe MB3 is playing hurt and it's really saying so. I believe Barber should rest up for two games (Chargers and Saints) or be a third string emergency back and get healthy. But we as fans know in all reality that's not going to happen.

Well for the dreds, it doesn't have anything to do with his playing ability. Barber needs to block and go out for catches and get endzone runs. That's it. Just like how Bill Parcells did it. I believe Tashard Choice will help set the pace with the two back scheme with the two tight ends.

Well I just got off the phone with Wade and here is what he said:

"Utrunner07, you and your friends are right. I would love to start Choice he is after all the bee's knees; however, unfortunatley before we make any changes in the starting rotation [here i interupted wade and reminded him we are not dealing with a pitching staff at which point he argued that rotation was the correct usage since there were three backs being rotated at which I said "ROTATED??!?!?!?! ROTATED?!?!?! You tell that little red headed girl friend of yours if they were actually being 'Rotated' we might not be in this predicament!!"...we agreed to disagree] we must file the application and paperwork with Jerry. As of right now Jerry, has been very busy with the new stadium and trying to figure out how the roof door opener works, its just a simple button so I don't know what the hold up is, but anyway, Jerry is behind on the paper work so the onyl way choice starts is if Jerry can get his butt down to work and get the paper work approved and sign off on our desire to change starters, right now we are at about a three week delay in paper work and this request was put in 10 days ago, so...we are hoping to have him start against San Diego but not holding our breath."

I've been one of Barber's biggest supporters all year, but he needs fewer carries.

I'm fine with Choice starting, but I still dont want him getting more than 5 carries.

Felix is the one who needs more carries. 10-15 for Felix, 5-10 for Barber, and 5ish for Choice.

He simply has zero burst, and still tries to go laterally too much. However we need him for the tough runs though.

Its not being careless with the football if someone strips it out after you are laying on the ground, and its tough to more than "nothing" when you get 2 carries.

I don't think Choice is any great shakes, but I'm completely disgusted with Barber right now.
