Yep.

And get more misdirection going w/ 2 RB's on the field at once.

I would like to see Barber and Felix in the backfield together more myself. With both power and speed in the backfield one could create some interesting scenarios.

First of all, we gave Barber a huge contract so he is not going anywhere. However, I do agree with Jerry that Barber needs to be moved back to his closer role.

As for the primary back, I would have to vote for Choice.

The reason is that Felix is soft as Charmin, dude just cant stay healthy. Even now when he is playing, he does not look anything like he did earlier in the year. If you have a Tivo game from early in the season, look at Felix and compare him to what we saw in New York. Does not even look like the same guy. So I go with Choice mainly due to durability, even though I think Felix is the better back on those rare occassions he is 100% healthy.

Who are defenses more worried about? That's your answer. I think it's obvious and really not close. The problem is JG is too stupid or stubborn or whatever to use any of them to their fullest potential and benefit of the team.

Clearly thats it. Not the fact hes a poor blocker and reciever. And hes fragile.

If he was so good dont you guys think wed see more of him?

I chose Jones, but a better question might be who should get more carries on Sunday - I think Choice.

It seems as interesting as the Scandrick or Jenkins debate, so lets start it.

Barber is no longer a Cowboy come the start of the 2010 season, who is your starter and WHY?

for me it is Tashard Choice, he is the better running back, with the ability to run it up the gut, and the speed to run it to the side and run past people, he has the durability to be a everydown back and seems to have a team-first personality.

for me, its

Choice..

I am sorry but Felix is overrated and is not an every down back.

Choice is good, but he is a replaceable running back, there are probably 15 guys in the league just like him or very similar. Felix's speed comes around only once in a while on a back who can actually use it.

Felix is this team's most dangerous back...probably it's most dangerous player. Why Garrett doesn't try to utilize that I don't know.

OK so now what? It's not like the fans have any say in who starts or how many carries either of them get.

This seems obvious to me too.... Felix has the ability to make guys miss like Tashard will never have, plus the speed to go all the way any time. I keep hearing how he's not an every down back because he's injury prone, fragile etc..., can't block, that's a bunch of b.s.. Yes he's had injuries, it happens but he seems to be getting stronger but just not getting the touches or the blocking lately.
All things being equal, given the ball on the same play with the same opening Jones will make more of it than Choice 90% of the time. and you know it. The crowd sure knows it, they rise to their feet every time he gets the ball. Do they do that with Choice??? hardly.

They are all overrated by Cowboy fans:
1. Choice is solid/good, but definitely replaceable. He is strong all-around and reliable to pick his way for good chunks of yards. But isn't great at anything.
2. Felix isn't as fast as everyone in this forum makes him out to be. He runs a 4.5 and it shows - he has gotten caught on long runs many times already. When he is 100% healthy/confident with fresh legs, he is extremely quick and explosive. But so far, that happens about 1 in 7 games (at the most).
3. Barber is about done. He can no longer break tackles, which was his differentiator. He isn't going to get any better, he still seems like he is trying to run over people, he just can't anymore. He will continue to wear down. I doubt he will be in the league in four years (I love the reaction I will get with that comment, but it is probably true).

Not really. I think Romo is underrated. Our RBs are good, none are great.

When history seems like it is about to repeat itself again this year, it becomes time throw a wrench into the whole machine.

I say lean on Choice hard tomorrow and see what happens. Let's not forget, without Choice getting that carry in KC, we are probably 7-5 right now or worse. Who's to say he won't break two or three long runs tomorrow that Barber could not, which ultimately might win us the game

I was in the minority when it came to Jenkins vs Scandrick.

I said Jenkins was the better player last year.

Felix Jones!
