With our free agency most likely over, all of the focus is on the draft and i am curious to see which route posters want us to go. So i have created 5 mocks that all have positions of need at every pick. Every mock has the same positions of need (RB, DT, CB, LB, OT) but at different rounds. I have chosen players that were projected around where we pick at every round. I had some players fall to us. As well as reach for others.

If you don't like the players i have chosen then just replace them with one you like at that position. none of these are my Personal mocks(well one may be) so this is more about just seeing how certain drafts can look. And yes i do understand that players of other positions like DE or FS can be taken but i just wanted to use the same 5 team needs so its easier to compare.

Mock 1

- OT TJ Clemmings, Pittsburgh
- DT Michael Bennett, Ohio State
- RB David Cobb, Minnesota
- CB Jacoby Glenn, Central Florida
- LB Jake Ryan, Michigan

Mock 2

- RB Todd Gurley, Georgia
- LB Stephone Anthony, Clemson
- DT Grady Jarrett, Clemson
- OT Rob Havenstein, Wisconsin
- CB Lorenzo Doss, Tulane

Mock 3

- CB Marcus Peters, Washington
- RB Tevin Coleman, Indiana
- LB Denzel Perryman, Miami
- DT Gabe Wright, Auburn
- OT Austin Shepherd, Alabama

Mock 4

- LB Eric Kendricks, UCLA
- CB Steven Nelson, Oregon State
- OT Cedric Ogbuehi, Texas A&M
- RB Javorius Allen, USC
- DT Derrick Lott, Tennessee-Chattanooga

Mock 5

- DT Eddie Goldman, Florida State
- OT Jake Fisher, Oregon
- CB Doran Grant, Ohio State
- LB Ben Heeney, Kansas
- RB Karlos Williams, Florida State

(used CBS sports, walter football, and nfl.com to get the player rankings. so if you dont agree on player projection dont look at me lol)

2 is my favorite. If I can get those 1st three guys rds 1-3, I'm incredibly happy. Those are 3 of my pet cats all in one mock.:) None of these are bad mocks though. I would actually be pretty happy with all of these.

Well thank you. I put about an hour of free time into the mocks all together. Didn't just pick random players at the positions. I at least got scheme and role fits. And i agree I like mock 2 the most. But i just see some posters want defense heavy and feel our Oline can make any RB good or great and others want a very dominate run game and feel we can slack off of defense some with the signing of Hardy and getting Lee back. I want to see if having names in front of them can change minds or at least spark debates. Not much else to talk about with weeks still till the draft.

Yeah, prolly #2. Gurley will be a beast, even without the Dallas O line in front of him. Give him the Dallas passing game too in order to take pressure off the run game and it would be a nightmare scenario for opponents.

Still, #3 with Coleman, Perryman, and Wright would be nice too, although I'm not crazy about Marcus Peters.

Oh I'm practically praying for Gurley at this point. Can u imagine the amount of crying that will come from eagle fans when they see our run game with Beast Mode 2.0. Phillys gonna flood.

Number two, but if you swap Peters for Kevin Johnson in round one of mock three I might pick that one.

I will take mock 5 would of really liked to have improved at DE in this Draft, DT with Goldman is a huge upgrade(very special), I think Fisher is a keeper and when he is ready we will have an improved Oline, Doran Grant hits a need, Heeney has some talent and gawd knows we eat LB with this Defense, and Karlos Williams might be the best sleeper RB considering out Oline. Would I like some different choices, of course but you can have three starters with this draft in a couple of years.

I like 2 and I like 3, but I think Perryman goes earlier than where we pick in the 3rd

I would like five a lot if you swap Humphries for Fisher and Steve Nelson for Grant.

Oh wow. I was starting to think this was a failed experiment and everyone was going to just take Gurley draft.

Yea trying to find best value in a 5th round back was hard. That's what i spent most of my time on. Didn't know much about Karlos Williams. seems like another players whos gonna go later due to character concerns. Seems like he could be our perfect draft steal. Best in a zone block scheme.

I am with you on the Steve Nelson switch, no so much on the Fisher as I think he has some potential.

Really good choices.
I do like the Gurley draft
But that 3rd mock might yield 3 players that end up with 1st round quality careers
