I don't want him, by any means, but I'm wondering how much of it is that he's totally washed up and how much of it is that the Chargers simply have a couple WRs they like much better than him and who get more playing time and passes their way.

I don't know, honestly, as I've not seen enough Chargers games in the last couple of years but this seems like a super fast decline for a guy who they only picked up a couple of years ago and it was thought to be a nice pick up.

The Chiefs have reportedly claimed Chris Chambers off waivers from the Chargers.
Chambers has been running on fumes, but he should get plenty of opportunity for playing time on the receiver-needy Chiefs. Coach Todd Haley has brought in at least a half-dozen veteran options since training camp and only slot receiver Bobby Wade remains a factor. Don't expect fantasy value in the Chiefs struggling offense, even if he does bypass the struggling Mark Bradley on the depth chart.
