There were a lot of rumors a week ago about the 'phins trading Chambers.

His numbers were down last year and he had some problems holding onto the ball. In his career however, he's put up some decent numbers (while being stuck in some awful teams w/ awful QBs) and has even made the pro bowl (in 2005 I think).

Is he worth trading for? If so, what would it take? What sort of preseason has Ginn had?

Chambers signed a pretty big contract a few years back and I think he has about 10mil remaining on his contract (signed through the 2009 season).

Chambers is over-rated and an under-achiever.

He'll likely be gone next year when there's 1 yr remaining(and a roster bonus to boot).

Fuget about it.

If we were going to trade for a receiver I would prefer someone with only one year remaining on their contract that can fill in till we draft a replacement next year.

Chambers is a complete waste of skin. He has one monster game per year and then crawls back into his shell and does nothing.

No thanks.

I'd be much more interested in the other WR rumored to be traded last week in Michael Clayton . Now that's a guy I would seriuosly consider . He's got great size , speed , and youth , but has been a victim to incosistent QB play .

I heard that, and thought the same thing. But I wouldn't do it because it would be too easy to confuse Clayton and Crayton.:laugh2:

We are better off playing our young receivers.
