“It’s SO good,” Chris Cooley said of Romo’s performance during his weekly appearance on the LaVar and Dukes show. “I was watching the scoreboard in St. Louis, and I didn’t see that they’d lost really until they end, I thought they blew them out so I kind of stopped paying attention. It’s amazing, AMAZING to watch him choke like that.

“I’m just saying, I’m up 24 points in the third quarter, if I’m the head coach, I feel like I could probably just take a knee for the rest of the game, punt it away and there’s no way that Detroit’s gonna drive on you that many times,” Cooley continued. “The only way you’re gonna give up that many points is turnovers, right? It’s hilarious to watch him throw pick sixes, too, back-to-back. I loved it. But it wouldn’t be as good as my cage fight.”

I heard the audio of this on 103.3 this morning. I know Cooley is a tool, but even considering that, I couldn't believe my ears. You don't talk trash like that about an opposing QB... You just don't.

And it sounds even stupider after his team just lost to us.

Here's hoping Spencer breaks him in half next time we face them.

Cooley...you got like 4 receptions for 70 yards on the entire season and have lost your role on the Skins to Fred Davis....your bum knee has you washed up son.

He's making himself feel better after their loss. Why not..

This cagefighting thing refers to a previous week’s episode, and so LaVar Arrington then asked Cooley how long it would take him to beat Romo in the cage.
“For me to beat Tony? I’m gonna be honest, I don’t know what kind of cagefighting skills he has,” Cooley responded. “I would probably try to incorporate my wrestling ability, like when I was in high school. Obviously it’s been a while, but I didn’t like to beat people fast. I like to embarrass ‘em a little bit. Like, take a 24-point lead, and then just play with it a little bit.”

Cooley is a dope

I tend to believe in karma in these things.

Say what you will, but Tony has always handled things with class and dignity. Usually things work out for guys like that.

Cooley isn't worth talking about.

I see that Rex Grossman's hypnosis is as strong as ever. He's got Chris Cooley right where he wants him.

he's right. what did you expect him to say?
Answer: Nothing.

Then again, I would like for my neighbor to carry his pooper-scooper with him every time he walks his dog or something as equally difficult as what Cooley should done.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple more of these in the next week or so.

More Lower Potomac Indiginous People loser talk. You can't stalk smack when the team you are talking smack about beat you like a red headed step child. I can't take comments from someone who could be the only male spokeperson for a Nair commercial seriously.

Ehh... this means nothing to me really. Cooley is the TE on a rival team so I'm not surprised that he's taking great joy in things like this.

I mean it's not surprising that people feel that way on opposing teams, and they should, they just probably shouldn't be so silly as to actually open their mouths and say it.

Now the funny thing will be should Romo light them up, and beat the Skins again later this year, will someone ask Cooley if that was so fun and amusing to watch.

I'm expecting to see a boatload--with half of them being generated by nonplayers (e.g. the media).
