He was a top 15 CB in 2014 w San Fran. Had 4 ints and had a high pff rating. Not bad- his rating was actually better than any db on the Cowboys. The only issues are his rehab and attitude.

Intriguing though.

I thought his contract was guaranteed for injury, guess not.

Did our new safeties coach work with SF during that time?

Culliver is a bit of an a-hole but he's big (6'0 200) and fast (4.36) and most importantly is not allergic to INTs like the current starting corners and safeties on Cowboys roster. Sign him to incentive laden contract, what can it hurt?

There was a clause in his contract that stated if he were to be suspended, his 2016 salary would be non-guaranteed. He was due 9 million and the skins didn't have to pay any of it.

Its a shame - dude was SHUTDOWN and we should have convinced him to stay for vet min plus incentives.

so you're saying he was a shutdown corner and want to pay him vet min+incentives?

Funny how that works.....

....I would sign him if he was free and pledged to play for 4 more years if he does great for the minimum

Yes - Honor. Loyalty. Sacrifice. Respect - Must be instilled in these egomaniacs.

well, I asked you this before and you didn't answer so i'll try again. what do you realistically think should happen to the nearly 10 billion the NFL makes, if everyone is making vet minimum? I know you didn't say *everybody*, but you have said Kirk Cousins (starting QB) and Josh Norman (Pro-bowl CB) should be making less than half of what they should make. So considering that ticket prices, TV prices and concession prices will not be decreased, what happens to all that money?

It should stay in the hands of the owners so that the fan game day experience can be increased through improvements and renovations

Yeah, right. The owners will burn it in their fireplaces to keep warm, Mr. Burns style.
