Chris Neild looked terrific

Defensive lineman Chris Neild looked terrific all day. He timed 5.09 in the 40, slightly improved over his average times from the combine. Neild then impressed scouts during position drills, looking fluid and smooth. With all the talent available on the defensive line in April's draft, Neild is truly one of the position's best kept secrets. He tested better than expected, plays with a blue collar mentality and has all the nuances teams want in a starting nose tackle for the NFL. Look for him to be off the board somewhere in round three.

3rd in to early for me, I'm thinking 4th-5th round and he would be a very good 3-4 NT. May not be ready to start right now though.

LOVE this kid.

He is not going to wow you with QB pressure or sacks, but he will plug the hole in the middle vs the run and occasionally get you some tackles for loss.

Kid has a motor that will not quit.

With that said...I only take him after the 5th.

We got other areas to address and we have Rat and Price already there.

the boy has the speed down

but does he have the guts and heart that Cliff had

I am sure he will be at Dallas Day Apirl 15

may be able to get as UDFA

hope the kid the best either way

im thinking rob ryan wants defensive players with a nasty steak, and very smart, can play multiple positions to confuse offense :starspin

the kicker to all this will be 2 main things
if cba is signed in time to get players in to get ready for defense in all scenarios

2. have enough of training camp, to get players ready and prepared to see what they can do, if you remember one year, players went to wade and told him that his coverages were to complex, let them play simple or whatever, so now we will see if your players are indeed smart and want to work on defense:starspin
