He has to seriously consider an offer like the one Arizona is going to bring to him. He has built a great program, but his Conference is a handicap.

They will end up with 1 loss and go to a non BCS minor bowl at best. Vegas? Humanitarian?

At Arizona he could still make it to a Rose Bowl with 1 loss.

Arizona has an incredible weight room. Possibly second only to Oregon's. They play in great weather. They are starving for a winner.

Most of all, they have $15 million to work with. They can make Peterson an amazing offer and allow him a staff to boot.

I am wishful thinking.

Psst Your bias is showing :D

He can stay at Boise for as long as he wants or move to a bigger program where he will eventually be fired. Boise has a chance to be in a bigger conference so I wouldn't expect to see him move.

BSU is moving to the big east next year right? if it remains an ABQ he wont have to worry about it

Next year he could make it to the Fiesta Bowl or the Orange Bowl with 5 losses just like UConn did. :D

Considering the way BSU's game ended last night, I figured this was another thread about a kicker.

if he does leave which I don't think he will Harsin will go back to Boise to replace him.

Yeah I don't think he has any intention of leaving Boise State at any time.

I'm always weary of mid-major coaches making the jump. If you remember, Dan Hawkins was Chris Peterson before Chris Peterson was. He had some great seasons at Boise and then almost single handedly destroyed Colorado's program.

Granted, that has no bearing on whether or not Peterson will be good. It's definitely a concern though.

Everybody has to start somewhere. Urban Meyer started at Bowling Green, Nick Saban's first HC gig was at Toledo.

As much I would hate to see it I could see Peterson at Arizona. Just last week Arizona went after Urban Meyer. Although he declined to consider the job it shows that Arizona is serious about it's football program. Unlike another Pac-12 school that has a clown for an Athletic Director and a "coach" that could be outsmarted by a run of the mill high school coach.

I was a little shocked that they took a run at Meyer.

A buddy of mine swears it will end up Mike Leach. I am hoping for Paul Chryst if not Peterson. Don't think I'd hate Leach though. He certainly fits our Offense.

That's cause he's going to Ohio St.

There are some rumblings that Peterson could be headed to UNC. He has a great relationship with our new AD, we have the money to spend, and UNC and dook have 2 excellent hospital systems to help with his son.
