Chris Wormley DT Michigan

Anybody else really interested in seeing what Rod would do with Wormley? Listed at 6'5 305 and he can play both SDE and DT. A lot more of a balanced athlete than you would expect for that size. Obviously not the speed rusher off of the edge we're all expecting, but he shows a pretty decent burst off of the ball and uses his long arms really well to create space and shows a nice swim move. Size and power makes him the force in the running game you'd expect.




I could definitely see him as best d line available at 32, if he's even there.

Yeah I can sorta kinda see it...only difference being that Wormley has a pretty distinct size advantage. If Crawford magically grew 2 inches and gained 15 pounds he'd probably be a lot more productive.

Rookie DTs usually don't do particularly well, but Collins has already won the starting position and gotten 5 sacks. He's a natural pass rusher and is a big boy. Get another guy like him and we'd have a nasty duo at DT. O-lines would be so focused on the inside that it would open up the edges. In my opinion, we're much closer to having a dominant interior D-line than a dominant edge.

Carlos Watkins out of Clemson or Jaleel Johnson out of Iowa would be perfect next to Collins. Both have day 2 draft grades at the moment.

Godchaux and Tomlinson are mid round options. i gave Joeyboy718 some early round options. Another name i would add is Vincent Taylor out of Oklahoma State.

I would love to get a fat boy at the 1tech. He put up 8.5 sacks on the season and then 2 more against Ohio State in the playoffs. He has pro bowl potential and his pass rushing flaws can be fixed by Marinelli

One of my pets is the DT from Iowa (Jamahl Johnson). I'm not a huge Iowa fan, but watched the Wis & Mich games. He destroyed them. Looks like a 3T.

Jaleel Johnson or Brantley. Johnson would be like Frederick. We'd draft him and everyone would cry because experts have him in round 2-3 instead watching him.

Wormley I'm not really a fan of. I'm guessing if we did get him they'd think he could be an end and a tackle. Meh
