Christine Michael already feeling comfortable with Cowboys offense

Christine Michael has only had two days of practice, but he said he’s already comfortable with the Dallas Cowboys’ playbook.

Good for him, because the sooner he understands the nuances of the playbook, the quicker he can start competing for playing time and shedding the "bust" label attached to his name.

“It’s from the same school that Seattle had,” Michael said of the Cowboys’ offense. “There’s a little bit different terminology, but I got it down in just over 72 hours. All I’ve been doing is going to work, coming home and getting into the playbook.”

Michael, a second-round pick from Texas A&M just two seasons ago, has 52 carries for 254 yards in two seasons. Seattle traded him to Dallas for a conditional seventh-round pick

“Seattle’s been good to me. They drafted me in the second round,” Michael said. “It’s a great place, but you have to move on and adapt.”...

Middle school offense.. Surprised it took him 72 hours.

Makes me wonder what his Wunderlic was?
Off that though- it's very good to hear him hitting the books, trying to get up to speed as quick as possible.
This team needs him completely engaged and ready to play good, smart Cowboys football and quickly.
I hope he fully understands the opportunity before him.
It sounds like he does.

He seems like the personality type that would say he has it down regardless of whether or not it's true.

Hopefully he's not gonna end up being that "I got it, I got it, I got it, uh oh.....I ain't got it" kinda guy.

So half the posters in this thread think CM is an idiot for taking 72 hours and the other half think CM is an idiot for saying that he was able to pick it up that fast.

Good to know.

Love the support for the new guy.

I think agendas have clearly been formed

Great more highly fair and rational hatred. CM is definitely a liar. Good to know.

Makes me want to go grab my pitchfork and light that torch I've been eyeballing for the past couple months...
Run around the yard yelling Lord of the Flies quotes at the top of my lungs...

My neighbors are already used to it. It's cool.
