To be honest, Purdy has looked stellar throwing downfield. The first INT was a mistake and great safety adjustment, but the last 2 INTs were both batted balls. That can happen to anyone. It’s just bad luck when a batted ball floats in the air to a defender. Those batted balls never seem to float into our hands. Zone defenses make more of those plays than man defenses.
