Christmas Day NFL games thread

So everyone in the booth and the guys in NY say it shouldnt have been a penalty but the game goes on with the wrong call. This is insane to me.
Because there is nothing to challenge. What is a snap and what is a smooth motion is something that, unfortunately, is completely arbitrary based on how the ref feels. It is weird that it is such a judgement call but I do not know what the alternative is.

Refs did their job...I've also heard that the high majority of the refs are from the East and Northeast.....so probably grew up Eagles fans given that Washington and NY have been bad for so long

Must be their make up call to Sirianni since he tried to get them to bail out the Eagles against Seattle. The Eagles needing the Refs to help them keep the Giants from coming back on them is why I'm not convinced that them beating the Giants isn't going to translate to them suddenly being a serious threat in the playoffs against any team who can scheme against Hurts and move the ball on their defense.

If i was a defensive coordinator I would have my safety run full speed and blast Jalen Hurts on those tush pushes.
I said it earlier that I'd feign lower leg injury EVERY time they run it and DELAY THE HELL OUT OF THE GAME!!!

The NFL needs to do something about these refs. The NFL is a billion dollar company but continue to allow the refs to be the main topic of discussion every week due to terrible calls or one sided calls.

Refs are under the gun . It’s almost impossible to get this right . All sports seem to have issues.

They aren't any different than they ever were. It's just that younger generations complain more.
It is the one unifying thing among NFL fans. There are 32 NFL teams and all 32 believe the refs are out to get them and help their rivals.

This is just another situation where the refs can pick and choose when to call that penalty. Just say it's an abrupt movement, even though it isn't. If you're a center in the NFL, you really should never do that.

NFL Ops team has 3 former players and 2 of them are Eagles. I'm surprised more hasn't been made of this 'coincidence'.

I am surprised the called that. That's how LVE got injured. Trent Williams pushed LVE into Micah Parson the same exact way. The only thing is Trent Williams didn't get flagged for it.
