Round 1- Alvin Dupree DE Kentucky- Wow, this kid is a terror off of the edge. Just ridiculous. Needs to add a little more strength and some good old fashioned coaching, but you have to love a kid that has his speed at 6'5 260+ coming off of the edge. A threat on the outside is desperately needed on this team, even if its a guy like Dupree who won't play every down right away.

Round 2- Tevin Coleman RB Indiana- Good vizion, great lateral agility, good size, and really fast. Can't ask for much more out of a rb than that, this kid is going to be a beast. You just don't see many people who can make a jump cut through a hole and then take off as fast as he can.

Round 3- Preston Smith DE/DT Miss St- Gotta love this kid. Absolute gamer with a motor that doesn't stop. Plays up and down the line at Miss St including DE and even NT. He's not the sexy edge rushing DE, but knows how to get after the QB no matter where he is played. I actually see a little Tyrone Crawford in him and will bring similar versatility. Currently listed at 6'6 270 and looks to have the frame to add more weight.

Round 4- Ladarius Gunter CB Miami- 6'2 with good athletic ability. Juco transfer and still a little raw but his size and athletic ability are definitely interesting. Played a lot of outside man but I've also seen him play some zone and he even lined up as a safety at times. Not afraid to tackle either, though he does need some technique refinement.

Round 5- Tyrus Thompson OT Oklahoma- Fits the dancing bear type at 6'5 330 with surprisingly quick feet. 2 year starter at LT for Oklahoma but projects a lot better on the right side with his size. Needs technique work and also needs to get stronger, but a huge RT with his athletic ability is good thing to take a risk on in the 5th.

I like 2-5 I'm not a dupree fan. To much of a 1 trice pony. Needs more pass rush moves. Just speed, once hands are on him he is stopped. But to each there own some love him. Just depends on who else is there. I think a 34 team will pick him earlier than we pick anyways. Better on his feet. Kiser has him rated as a OLB and not a DE.

I love this draft! I love all the picks except maybe the 4th rounder. Like the idea of addressing the CB position there. I'd be interested in QB Petty there if he was still available.
LOVE the first three picks and the 5th rd'er
nice work!

Never going to get a perfect prospect at the end of round 1. Your criticisms of Dupree are fair, but I just think his athletic skill set outweighs the fact that the position coaches would have to teach him some better hand placement and pass rush moves. He possesses skills that you can't teach and makes him worth the gamble in my opinion.

Good draft, but I think Dupree will be gone by the time we are on the clock.

Just depends on who is there. I take bpa and I don't have dupree as a top 40 player. I would go a different position then. Just not a fan of his in the 1st. To each their own.

The better your team gets the more specific your needs get. I trade up giving up 2 or 3 for the right pass rusher to pair opposite Lawrence.
