I thought I heard that during the broadcast. If he can't go, that Byron Jones pick looks brilliant. Glad the coaches gave him some experience at FS during the preseason. He's not the hitter Church is but he has better ball skills IMO. If Church can't go I think we'll be OK with the rookie.

I'd like to see Jones take over FS ASAP. Church is a great leader but not a great player. And Wilcox finally looks legit. The Jones/Wilcox duo could be the next great safety tandem in the NFL. White is a good player. He can cover TEs in the Nickel.

That should eventually happen, but right now the Cowboys need Church's veteran savvy out there. Jones is still a rookie and is better off in the role he fills now- slot corner, nickel safety, etc. Church and Lee are the brains of this defense.

I agree I would like to See him at fs as well, however I don't think that move is feasible when we are already down our best cb scandrick.
