Were there any folks brought in since the last game for a try out?

I think Parcells did this in order to find a better player but also I think to put in folks heads that he is always looking. I think it motivates folks. Wonder if Garrett plans to do any of this.

I believe we can sign vets now without guaranteeing their entire contracts.

They typically bring in players on Tuesdays, since that's the players' day off. Guess with playing earlier last week, they could have brought someone in, but didn't. Might bring someone in tomorrow.

Given the current situation with Costa's availability and lack thereof, I would be dropping TE #4 as soon as possible and bringing in another center candidate.

Cook played well, but again, there's no depth behind him.

I agree, we have no center depth. Now we signed cb,;) but still need a center.

Lequan lewis (sp) was signed..Corner back and special teams guy.

Nope. Jerry's happy with what we have. He likes to be a happy and stress free Cowboy family.
:banghead:

Any idea why we signed db instead of a backup center :thumbdo:

I still say sign Holland and drop Dockery. Holland would be a very good backup at both guards and we could slide Bernadeau over to center if Cook gets hurt. Dockery and Arkin are terrible depth.

4.3 speed and ability as a returner. I am surprised that Hos is not all over this signing. Lewis is a former Sun Devil.

Maybe there are no centers they like out on the street, right now.

Not sure he's all over it but it didn't escape his attn.

Hos is partial to Mildcats.

Seeing the reports on 'Tryout Tuesday', it's disappointing to not see the Cowboys doing anything.

When you say returner, do you means punts and kickoffs?

yes - as well as on the coverage units

Ah. I thought he was gold on all things Arizona.

My, my. No, there's a very big difference. The Mildcats suck eggs, and the Sun Devils well, don't.
