Troy Aikman on @1053thefan on Bengals QB Joe Burrow: "He, without question, is my favorite quarterback in the NFL, maybe my favorite player of all time for that matter. ... I just love everything about him, especially in today's NFL where you just don't see these types of players. He's an old school quarterback. He could've played in the '90s.

"I don't know if he's the best quarterback in the game today, obviously you've got Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, but (Burrow) throws with anticipation better than anybody currently playing the game."

Troy's not wrong. Burrow is definitely an old school type of player, and he's easily a top-5 QB in the game today, maybe even top-3. Guy throws with great anticipation.

Too bad he's stuck on a team with a Defense that can't stop a nose bleed, and an O-Line that's currently ranked 27th in the NFL right now. Tough.

Micah Parsons in interview aired pregame suggested he would be willing to take less money (diff between $30 and $40MM) … IF the Cowboys can evidence to him that they are planning to make bold personnel moves geared towards winning championships.

At least someone plays for the team and not the brother hood of the game.

I am looking forward to this game.
I thought two years ago the Cowboys and the Bengals should have met in the Super Bowl.
Tonight is the Super Bowl from two years ago that should have been instead of the Eagles and the Chiefs.
This could easily be a Super Bowl preview. As long as the Bengals can hold up their end of it.

Come on man nobody in our fan base is feeling bad for this dude we've had the same thing happen to guys like Romo and dak don't sit here and tell me they're in the best situations with the GM and owner we have they are not getting loaded up with the all in talent they don't even have the talent that what we saw with Matthew Stafford last night I mean look what Sam darnold's got 2 legit wide receivers that could take the top off of defense a really good running back the offensive line is doing really well I mean look at saquon Barkley you know what that offensive line is ranked over there there were the highest ranked offenses in the past and run blocking.. It's arguably one of the best offensive line if not the best group in the NFL you know other teams have these things but others don't you just have to play through it so I don't feel bad for the man at all what do you mean too bad by the way he didn't have to sign that contract why does it always come down to that where people feel bad for a player after his contract ran up from his rookie year all he had to do was hold out and force a trade that's what people do he remained there because he wanted to that goes for all the Dallas Cowboys who have resigned contracts here and everybody's poor Witten poor Zach Martin projects they chose to stay here you can't feel bad for people making millions of dollars and they had a choice of where they played in their second and third contracts and they stayed here...

So borough chose to stay with the Cincinnati team that's worse off than the Cowboys when it comes to being cheap I mean how do they not sign jamar chase now he's had one of his best years he's ever had and they're gonna you talk about waiting too late to pay a guy he's probably going in for 40 million next year you know he's going to want more than Jefferson now he's got all the pieces now but if he signs that contract you're....or him too i mean he can go elsewhere?/

Someone should have asked Troy if Burrow is better than Aikman
