Don't lie; this latest Cowboy-iest way to lose gives you a sense of nostalgia. This is what we know. This is all we know.

I don’t understand why the Bengals didn’t still have to get the 27 yards for the first down!!! How can a good thing turn into such a bad thing for us?

That's our team
that's insane though if you call a block punt you get a block punt but because it goes beyond the line of scrimmage and grazes one of our guys and they get the ball back and then they get a touchdown and it's over that's hard to deal with. Something positive turns into a negative so yeah it happens it's messed up I mean these things only happen it seems like to us it's literally it would've been better are you just gonna let them punt the ball to our offense at worst you run the clock out and get into overtime but this is nuts with our field goal kicker you want the offense to have the ball back but you get the block and still don't get the ball.

I'll just say it now, that punt block rule is incredibly stupid and I've never liked it. I don't see why a blocked punt is viewed any differently than a fumble.

I don't see the logic in the rule at all and I don't see why granting them a first just because the ball touched the opposing team first even matters. There are still yards left yet to pick up.
