Witten represents the good about football as well as professionalism and is a stand up human being. He is a guy you should want to root for no matter if you love or hate the Cowboys. He played with a broken jaw, without a helmet, through good seasons and bad, been an absolute role model off the field and the epitome of a professional on it. The NFL would be much better and easier to love if it had 1000 Jason Witten's. I'm so thankful for Witten, not only for his greatness on the field but his greatness off it. He is a throw back, cut from the old school, and a shining example of what it used to mean to be a Dallas Cowboy. He deserves all the accolades he gets and it will be a crime against the game if he retires without a ring.
