Who are the tier one QBs? Seems like there are more than usual, so tier 2 may not be all that.

Watson and Kaaya right now. Kelly is a possibility.

Everyone else at this stage looks to be outside the top 10. Character concerns could even drop Kelly some.

Depends on how you veiw tier 1 QBs.

To me a tier QB is a top 15 overall talent. Tier 2 is 15 to 45ish. Tier 3 45ish to 65 ish

I don't really think the "top tier" guys are all that to be honest.

Watson looks good but I don't see much of a short game from him. Everything is down field.

I dont think the top of the class is as good as last year but I think that 2nd and 3rd tier could be a huge improvement from last years crapfest of Hackenberger, Brissett, Kessler and Cook. 2016 could be a good year to get a Derek Carr

Some guys that are on my watch list right now are Beathard and Mahomes, Faulk, Mayfield, Liedler, and Webb

I think there may be 1 or 2 late first rounders and maybe a couple 2nd rounders from that list

I dont know if Mahomes can get that high up. I think Mahomes is a good candidate for the back end of the first. Maybe mid first. I don't think he will go higher then Kelly.

Mahomes is actually my favorite target for Romo's successor

From all the games I have watched, he can be inconsistent on intermediate routes. Clemson doesn't run a lot of short routes outside of the repetitive WR screens. He is elite (for a college QB) on deep routes to each third of the field.

I agree. His downfield stuff is nice but the NFL is all about the short to medium passing.

I need to watch him more though.

Watson to me has elite talent and makeup, but he is not a day 1 superstar. He reminds a bit of Cam as a prospect in that he has abilities and traits that make him a good #1 overall, but his game isnt completely sound yet

I like Mahomes as well.

I haven't watched a ton of these guys yet but Beathard is probably the most NFL ready QB I've seen out of the top 6 or 7 I've watched.


I like that BYU QB too even though he comes from a spread and locks onto one guy. I'd take a flier on him. Brill?
