He made 1.3m. The bet minimum for someone with at least 7 years in the NFL is 1.2m.

But people are upset like we’re paying him 40m guaranteed.

I love CJ's reliability, but he's a 35 year old special teams player. Someone that has more versatility has to pickup this spot at some point. The idea you carry a reserve DB onto a valuable active roster spot just feels like it can be better utilized.
