He's small, and is always in the tub. He's better than Randle and Dunbar, but not by much. We need a power runner to compliment those two.

I agree that's why we draft one .spiller is the perfect example of a low risk / high reward player .

He is better than what we have for sure. I would be okay with a 2 year deal as long as we draft someone with a priority as well.

He supposedly turned down 5 mill a year before the McCoy trade but I think his options may be shinking.

One thing about him....he is viewed like Murray would have been if he hit the market last year. He is very talented and has been productive but injury prone.

No thanks, people here think Murray was injury prone Spiller is even more so. A deal at 2 mill maybe

+1 for at least being honest.

most others who criticized carter, murray, and durant the last few days for being brittle will completely ignore Spiller's injury history.

Yay! Now we get to overpay for a really injury prone RB who doesn't have any goal line presence! But hey, he sure looks fast running on a wide open field! Of course, so does a guy like Dunbar, but hey!

Here's a good argument for signing Spiller: he'd allow the Cowboys to get rid of Joseph Randle (who could be facing league punishment for his legal woes in Kansas) while potentially solving the kick return woes. Pair Spiller with a high draft pick and possibly Ryan Williams; and watch them combine for Murray-like production behind football's best line.

If we are not going to bring Peterson here then we should sign Spiller.

I wouldn't worry about a RB right now....I would get RoMac and Sterling Moore signed plus find a little DL help with the money Murray left on the table. Look at RB in the draft.

Not sure why Spiller would want to go there when they just signed Ingram.

I'm okay with bringing him as long as he's splitting time with someone else. By the same accord, I really want to see what we have in Ryan Williams.

I would rather draft a rookie. Spiller sucks. He's a shell of what DeMarco Murray was.

Hes been the guy ive wanted since a month+ ago. Get him, draft someone in the third or so, move on. Hes as healthy as murray and wont waste those free passes to the second level the way murray did. That should offset the lesser ability to convert in short yardage situations. I hope they get him.

Not much better than Randle or Dunbar? Hahahah

Let me know when both of those players COMBINE for 1200 yards rushing...

In their careers

Spiller will kill it here

We have holes in many places I get it. But our entire teams identy was our ability to run the ball and control the clock. We need players that we can count on to do this next year. Maybe we will draft that guy......but statically we will draft another so what running back since that's what 95% are these days.

I wouldn't mind taking a gamble on Spiller if the price was right. I would still like to look at RB's in the draft too though. Then the best 3 backs can win spots on the team.
